該項目地點屬沖積扇場地類型，并在其中心部位形成由山澗溪流匯集而成的集水湖區，這便也決定了它在地形、水文、土壤及植被等方面環境敏感型的場地特征。距離杭州市區1.5小時的車程，建德富春開元芳草地鄉村酒店所在區域位于富春江沿岸視野最為開闊的部位，該酒店的建造定位即使之成為如《富春山居圖》之中所描繪的如詩般的休閑度假地，打造“結廬在人境，而無車馬喧”的現代田園生活方式。同時，作為建德市首家高端酒店，期望它能夠發揮帶動當地旅游行業發展，推動鄉村振興的積極作用。

Being located in an alluvial fan with a catchment lake in its central, the site is environmental sensitive in topography, hydrology, soil and vegetation. 1.5 hours drive from Hangzhou City, the site of the resort is the most open area along Fuchun River and it is expected to become a poetry-like countryside leisure & holidays land as what has been inspired from the scene in a famous Yuan Dynasty painting “Dwelling in the Fuchun Mountains”. Moreover, as the first high-end hotel in the area, it is anticipated to act as an engine in developing local tourism, playing positive role in countryside revitalization.

遵循現代中國鄉村開發建設的生態發展觀，當地豐富的自然環境成為決定這一項目成功的重要資源與財富。低影響開發措施具體體現在諸多方面。車行環路的規劃最大程度地依照原始地形修建，減少土方開挖，最大化降低對于地形的干擾。在陡峭的山地區域采用吊腳樓的建造形式，做完獨立基礎后，不對場地做其它土方處理，上部建筑使用輕鋼現場組裝，大大減少現場土方工程和濕作業，有效保護當地地質結構及植物資源。

Following the views of ecological development in modern Chinese countryside development practices, local natural environment is the best treasure for the success of a project. Measurements of low impact development in this project are applied in many aspects. The planning of vehicle route follows the original topography to minimize construction intervention. Stilts are built on steep mountains and fabricated light steel is constructed on independent house foundation, which reduces earthwork quantity production while benefits of protecting local geological setting and plant resources.

在場地評估及設計規劃之中，樹木獲得優先權。土方及修路過程中產生的土石以及現場原有石頭得到重新利用，用于搭建路邊擋墻及鋪地，大大減少了垃圾外運成本、削減原材料采購預算，實現場地內的低影響建造。

Trees are evaluated in priority in the building plan. Soils and stones produced in construction are reused for building retaining walls or to be pavement materials, which not only recycles construction materials but also largely reduces transportation cost and cuts material budget, accomplishing low impact construction on site.

如自然界中的進程般，該項目中的雨水經由溝渠收集、再匯入山中溪流以及中心湖中。采用人工建造的微生態濾床進行污水處理。生活污水經過系統處理后，回用于綠化灌溉、道路清洗等用途，形成生態小循環，避免了生活污水對于富春江的直排污染。

Rainwater is drawn into tunnels and led to the lake and streams as it does naturally. Artificial micro-ecological filters are utilized for wastewater treatment. Treated water is gathered into a pool before being pumped for recycling in landscaping and car washing, which therefore eliminates sewage discharge to Fuchun River.

Around 200 guest rooms scatter within the mountains. Featured rooms, such as villa rows, boat rooms and tree rooms are displaying with various gestures in the green mountains and blue water. Guests living here may get up with singing of birds in the morning. Seasonal fresh organic food arrive guests’ dinning tables after elaborated cooking. The project takes considerations to the next level by involving and awakening guests into the nature – effectively achieving refreshment and tying them into global wellness industry.
